At Cardrona we have 8 amazing food & beverage outlets across the hill. With all of these busy cafe's & restaurants, we require a person to assist with the purchasing of F&B stock and management of the inwards & outwards goods for the department.
This position will work with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure the correct levels of stock are accurately delivered in an efficient manner to the correct outlets / storage facilities around the mountain.
Organisation skills are also a must and a competent knowledge of Microsoft excel & invoice / packing slip layouts. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Key responsibilities include :
Place all product orders & coordinate deliveries to ensure that appropriate levels of food & beverage stock are maintained throughout the season
Develop & maintain productive & positive supplier relationships; highlighting price fluctuations to the F&B Manager
Negotiate new cost pricing when appropriate and in consultation with the F&B Manager
Reconcile & check invoices against orders and / or delivery dockets; maintaining accurate records
Rectify issues / errors with deliveries (e.g. incorrect quantities, wrong products, damaged goods)
Ensure all deliveries are stored appropriately & efficiently; liaising with Stores Supervisor
Maintain digital inventory; update stock levels when receiving goods, and update product details via stock control system through POS system
Seasonal product updates in POS system (e.g. adding new products, editing cost price of existing products etc.)
Physical & digital stock level management; tracking, transferring & regular stock-taking for all goods-on-hand
This is a full time role for the 2019 season starting in March.
