Role :

As an IT Engineer - End User Services you will be working as part of a team responsible for the delivery, management and maintenance of end user accounts and services.

The process of user management and account provisioning involves creating user accounts, giving permissions, and changing accounts or privileges as necessary, to protect security in the enterprise, while allowing our users access to everything they need to do their jobs.

This role may also involve assisting with the provisioning and tracking of desktop software and PC equipment from time to time.

To be successful in this role, you will be a team player with a positive can-do attitude whose time management skills are second to none, as is your ability to problem solve, work effectively under pressure without error, and juggle ever-changing priorities.

Attention to detail is also essential, along with taking ownership and being prepared to go the extra mile.

You will have AAA+ communication skills (both verbal and written) and be comfortable with managing user expectations.

You must also be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, currently reside in New Zealand and be available to start within 4 weeks of a successful application.

Applicants must also pass a NZ Ministry of Justice / Police background check.

What you are responsible for :

  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Performing routine provisioning ticket tasks independently or as part of a team following standard processes and procedures.
  • Monitoring ticket queues and mailboxes.
  • Assisting helpdesk and Level 1 & 2 technical support teams with end user access related incidents and queries.
  • Responding to and troubleshooting user access and account queries.
  • Documenting processes and procedures.
  • Assisting with the implementation of new systems and tools, enhancements to systems and tools and new user services.
  • Proactively contributing to initiatives to improve services and team performance.
  • What skills and experience you need :

  • Relevant IT industry certification(s).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT customer services role e.g., contact centre / service desk.
  • A good understanding of managing user accounts in an enterprise environment.
  • A good working knowledge of the following technologies, MS Azure, Windows 10, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Citrix, and PowerShell.
  • Experienced in using Service Now and Office365 applications including Teams, SharePoint OneNote, and Power BI.
  • An understanding of Dev Ops, Agile and Waterfall IT service delivery methods (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (desirable)
