    Te Kaiurungi About the Role

    This is a phone based position where you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from our internal and external customers, as well as making outbound calls to support their life insurance applications.

    Key responsibilities in this position are :

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to our customers
  • Answer inbound customer enquiries and act on all maintenance requests
  • Communicate with customers effectively, providing all necessary information so customers can make informed decisions
  • Record information accurately and efficiently to enable underwriting of insurance applications
  • Actively listening to our customer requests to be able to anticipate their needs
  • Provide exceptional service and expert information to support our internal customers via our dedicated staff insurance line
  • The operating hours for this team are 8am to 8.30pm, and you will work 37.5 hours per week between these hours, Monday to Friday.

    Delivering exceptional customer service is key to this position, so you will be able to demonstrate where you have previously worked in a customer service based role, and showed a strong service ethic. We are looking for :

  • A passion for customer service and outstanding communications skills
  • Excellent phone manner and comfortable dealing with a variety of phone calls from our customers
  • An eye for detail to ensure data integrity is maintained and will be competent using technology
  • Initiative to identify areas where processes could be improved
  • The ability to problem-solve and manage your time efficiently
