Work with a giant of technology :

The Team Leader, PMO, plays a pivotal role in ensuring project coordinators in various locations are scheduled and guided to assist customer projects, keeping the Director, PMO abreast of progress.

This role works closely with State Project Delivery Directors, account Program Managers and Customer Service Directors to ensure requirements are understood and workload is managed for the allocated project coordinators.

This is a hands-on role, also delivering selected PMO services to customer accounts. This role will support and guide project coordinators across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Define PMO requirements, working with State Project Delivery Directors, account Program Managers and Customer Service Directors
  • Manage workload of allocated project coordinators (locations can include Australia, NZ, Manila and India)
  • Create and negotiate appropriate Service Catalogue and Operating Rhythm for customer accounts
  • Review and finesse financial reporting, timesheet reporting, customer invoicing, raising purchase orders and project status reports to customers
  • Ensure all billable activities and expenses recorded are on-billed to the customer on time and correctly
  • Coordinate internal Project Steering Groups and monthly Project Board
  • Create process documentation working with multiple stakeholders
  • Manage resource allocation when coordinators are on leave
  • Work closely with resource coordinators to register project coordinator utilisations
  • Building your own path to success :

    To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • Experience as Team Leader, PMO or senior Project Coordinator within a corporate environment
  • Experience supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working as a project manager is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across broad stakeholders
  • Ability to perform business analysis working with business stakeholders
  • Previous experience working in an IT department
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise regularly changing workload
  • Knowledge of MS Project Server or MS Project Online and MS Project Professional 2010 or later
  • Intermediate advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to use corporate tools used to manage projects and PMOs
  • Knowledge of creating reports and dashboards in Power BI would be beneficial
