In an exciting and transformational phase of IT evolution, Ingram Micro is looking to appoint a highly motivated, passionate and innovative Business Development Manager (BDM) who embraces new technologies and is committed to selling and driving cloud adoption for IaaS, SaaS and Cloud Technologies for new and existing customers.
About the role :
Responsible for developing strategies for target market verticals in line with meeting customer needs and delivering long term value to their business
Ensuring identification of new business opportunities while building a solid pipeline for future sales and growth
Working collaboratively with internal sales and support teams to guide the direction of our product and solution offerings
Handling a high volume of client engagements within the fast paced, ever developing Cloud computing market
Facilitating and driving relationships between the vendor and reseller to cement our position as the distributor of choice
Deliver solutions that provide resellers with complementary offerings and contribute to their business profitability success in Cloud infrastructure as a service
To be successful you will have :
A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in selling technology based solutions
A proven success in new business development, strategic partnerships and the ability to develop growth within an existing customer base
Experience in Business to Business environment
A broad selling knowledge of Public and Private Cloud technologies
Well-developed negotiation, communication and presentation skills
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with technical, sales and C level customer contacts
A real passion for Cloud Technologies - keeping up to date with new Ingram Micro Cloud vendor offerings and insights
Strong business and financial acumen with a proven record of providing compelling value propositions
