s and Responsibilities :

  • Participate in Releases & Deployments
  • CRQ review, approval & implementation
  • Incident monitoring and reporting, SLA tracking
  • Work on P1, P2, P3, P4s incidents and Service Requests
  • Problem (PBI) ticket creation and tracking
  • Application / Server Monitoring and Daily Health check monitoring
  • Applications Audit - preparation and review
  • Coordination with other teams and vendors
  • Ensure that sufficient information is captured as and when a new issue is encountered and resolved, in confluence
  • Manage and participate in the on-call 24x7 rota
  • Review the risks associated with the applications for which you are the SME
  • Participate in daily interlocks with onshore and offshore team - Tracking the tasks for the day to the team. Provide the information about the changes happening that night / week and request their support
  • Application certificate management
  • Automation for frequently occurring issues
  • Ops Technical assessment, Ops handover related activities / discussions for projects
  • Handle technical issues for applications for which you are the SME
  • Skill / Competency Requirements


  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
  • 4-5 years of sound Knowledge of Telecom OSS / BSS Domain
  • Mobile application products / technologies - NOKIA Surepay, Matrixx OCS, Orbix payment gateway, IBM WBI
  • Application Monitoring Tools : Splunk cloud, Netcool
  • Database : Oracle, MySQL
  • Programming languages : Java
  • Operating System : sound knowledge of Unix, Linux commands
  • Scripting languages : Python, Perl, Shell Scripts
  • Tools : Confluence, jira, BMC Remedy, GIT, Docker, Jenkins
  • ITIL knowledge - Problem Management, Change management, Incident Management
  • Preferred

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
