Te Mana Whakamaru Tamariki Motuhake (The Independent Children’s Monitor) provides independent oversight across the Oranga Tamariki system.
Its primary role is to monitor those organisations that have custody and care of children and young people with a focus on supporting improved outcomes for them and their whānau.
This is achieved through feeding back to organisations, communities and agencies, as well as reporting findings to the Minister.
The Kairuruku Tira - Team Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the functions of our Monitors or front-line staff. In this role you will work across the monitoring teams of the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch offices.
calendar management; stakeholder coordination; event management; and document and information management. We are keen to find someone who likes to problem-solve, find efficiencies, and develop processes to improve our operations.
