Key responsibilities include :
Maintaining and developing understanding of asset condition and the relationships between, duty and asset health, plant condition, performance, risk and expected life expectancy.
Support operational teams to improve equipment performance and eliminate chronic defects.
Provide technical support to solve and trouble shoot equipment performance issues.
Identifying, assessing and managing equipment integrity threats along with remedial works.
Manage site-based projects that improve equipment performance in line with system requirements.
Deliver technical support to Operational, Maintenance, Reliability, Health and Safety and Project Delivery Teams.
Work to identify, communicate and realise better ways of working and opportunities for improvement.
Execution and supervising of plant inspections, engineering and failure assessment works.
Ensuring that Mercury's Management of Change (MoC) process is followed.
Represent Engineering standards and continue to drive best practice.
Ensuring that technical and performance requirements are defined, and works are commercially justified.
We are looking for :
Bachelor of engineering (Preferred) or equivalent tertiary degree.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant engineering experience. (Desirable)
A full, clean New Zealand driver's license, or equivalent.
Experience on geothermal and hydro stations an advantage.
