We are a small supportive clinical team that strives to provide holisticcare of a high standard in partnership with patients and the key support person(KSP).

Our team understands the diversity demographics of the region and aimsto meet the needs of our community. We work closely and collaboratively withour Allied Health and community service providers.

We are seeking an Enrolled nurse to join our Te Kuiti Hospital andCommunity teams come an make a positive journey for patients and whanau, KSP.

  • The Waikato District Health Board (DHB) is one of the largest of 20 DHBsin New Zealand.

    Te Kuiti is one of the four Waikato DHB rural hospitals, and iscentrally located in the North Island On its back door are the wild west coastand bush / native areas for those who like to enjoy outdoor recreation.

    WaitomoCave and Otorohanga Township, the Kiwiana mecca of New Zealand, are just downthe road. We are in the heart of the King County / Te Rohe Potae.

    Our hospital consists of a 12 bed Inpatient Unit, Emergency Department,Outpatients, Radiology, Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, andCommunity Services.

    All services have collegial and collaborative relationshipswithin the hospital teams and with community providers.

    In the inpatient unit, adult patients who require medical,rehabilitation and palliative care are supported. Locally residing GPs from oneof the local medical centres are contracted to provide inpatient, ED, and PRIME(a model which others areas would like to replicate).

    Waikato is the fourth largest region in New Zealand and located justsouth of Auckland. It features a wide range of world-class outdoor and culturalexperiences.
