    Caldwell and Levesque Limited is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our growing team in Auckland. This position is permanent full-time.

    Reporting to the Manager Datatech Services, you will be responsible for :

  • Tendering / estimating proposed projects.
  • Pricing and submission of project variations.
  • Placing major suppliers orders and liaising with Project Supervisors regarding delivery times.
  • Actively participating to grow and develop the business year on year in existing and new markets.
  • Assisting Senior Management with the development and maintenance of the strategic direction of the Company.
  • Assisting with the development of a sustainable workforce that is focused on developing a culture of performance and delivering superior customer service.
  • To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications, experience and skills :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience in tendering and issuing work packages
  • Significant experience in the construction industry, preferably within the commercial electrical or ICT comms sector
  • Ability to work with the management team and manage numerous activities / projects simultaneously - both short and long term
  • Proficient in planning, organising and working to timelines
  • Ability to design, cost, and manage commercial electrical or ICT Comms installations
  • Strong business development ability
  • An understanding of business financial systems and reporting needs
  • Strong time management and resource allocation skills
  • Computer skills commensurate with the role
  • Flexible attitude and approach to work
  • A strong leader who is able to lead, mentor and coach staff
  • Motivated and focused on customer satisfaction
  • Current NZ Drivers Licence
