Job Description

The Role or What You’ll Do

As a Technical Consultant within our Professional Services team, you will be recognised as a technical expert in deployment activities of the ACI Immediate Payments and / or BASE24-eps solutions.

The role is client-facing requiring excellent customer skills with proven verbal and written communications. You will be at the forefront of some our key clients providing first class delivery services in accordance with customer expectations and contractual agreements.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Implementation, configuration, and technical support experience of a payment / switch processing solution or similar.
  • Proven payment scheme certification skills.
  • Experience in deployment of new product releases and / or solution upgrades, includes install verification processes (IVP) and / or smoke testing processes.
  • Hands on experience working with relational databases such as Oracle / MSSQL / PostgreSQL / DB2.
  • Demonstrate solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with payment processing solutions.
  • Ability to define and clarify technical tasks to implement a project.
  • Experience in ISO20022 messaging.
  • Experience in WebSphere / JBOSS or similar.
  • Proven experience in reviewing solution definition and product requirement documents.
  • Build relationships at various levels internally and within our customers organisation.
  • Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in delivery and software development tasks.
  • Groovy or similar scripting language experience.
  • Technical writing skills with ability to write design documentation.
  • Immediate Payment (NPP) solution experience.
  • Knowledge of Control Centre or ASPF.
  • Any BASE24 or BASE24-eps hands on experience in a deployment or software engineer capacity.
  • 6+years real-time payments processing or retail banking experience in a technical customer facing capacity.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • You will be passionate, highly motivated and focused with the ability to deliver to customer deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
