We are seeking experienced Class 4 Drivers to join our team based in our new purpose-built state of art Head Office, East Tamaki.

Our brand-new fleet of trucks are set up with modern technologies and we all take pride in delivering an essential service to local residents and business.

If you like the idea of driving trucks, operating hydraulics and don’t like being stuck indoors, then Waste Management is for you!

We have positions available for immediate start to operate sideload trucks collecting wheelie bins around Auckland.

Our fleet is brand new and are state of the art. Once trained, a typical day will see you starting early to collect bins from different areas of Auckland.

Your logbook and daily paperwork will be completed on your company issued phone. The area we cover in Auckland stretches from Parnell to Waiuku and Pukekohe, so there is plenty of variety.

Driving the collections truck is an essential role in the community, you’ll get plenty of waves from the public.

We can offer you :

Two weeks of on the job training with an experienced operator to show you the ropes.

Starting and finishing work in the same location each day, you’ll always be home for dinner.

An early start to beat the traffic (between 5 - 6am each day).

Guaranteed 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, often more and with Saturday work when there’s a public holiday in the week.

Ongoing training and development, we have different types of vehicles to operate.

A company issued phone to complete electronic versions of your driving logbook and daily vehicle condition check.

Latest technologies on board trucks for navigation, communication, and job confirmation.

To be successful in this role you need to have :

A valid NZ Class 4 Licence with relevant driving experience.

Relevant transport industry knowledge and experience.

A keen attitude to learn and succeed as a team.

Be flexible to drive different routes from time to time depending on requirements.

You will need to be physically fit and have ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
