Your main duties will include :
Recording and maintaining all bookings accurately
Acting as a conduit between all parties in the hospital and specialists rooms, ensuring all communication is clear, professional and prompt
Re-scheduling any cancelled theatre sessions to maximise theatre time and revenue
Building and maintaining rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Participating in contributing towards projects as required
The successful candidate will have :
Previous experience in a patient bookings or administration (preferably in healthcare)
Experience with PiMs and Medical Terminology (an advantage)
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict
Great attention to detail
Superb organisation and time management skills
