We are looking for energised and engaged University students from a broad range of disciplines, who are capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
You will be involved with work related to your studies and in turn will gain first-hand experience of the Public Sector and the work we undertake within Corrections.
This internship will involve working with the digital solutions & architecture teams to enhance an existing application.
Key Responsibilities : This Summer Intern is responsible for supporting the Data Architects team. You will be responsible for : Maintenance of data models Analysis of data quality issues Development and testing of SQL scripts Database Design Other business as usual’ activities Skills and experience needed : Excellent customer focus Good at problem solving Knowledge of data modelling using ERD notation and a modelling tool Knowledge of database design and development Able to perform data analysis and identify data quality issues Working Knowledge of SQL and PL SQL language Exposure to relational databases ideally SQL Server and Oracle Ability to self-
manage work effectively and prioritising tasks. This Internship would suit a student studying tertiary qualification in software engineering or similar having completed papers in programming and relational databases with SQL.
