We are currently seeking to recruit Registered Nurses to work in our Rehabilitation and Older Adult Mental Health areas.
Full time and part time positons are available in both specialty areas, with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skill set to work across either discipline.
Applications are sought for nurses with a passion for working in both the Rehabilitation and Older Adult Mental Health environment.
The role will involve care of both the physical and psychological health needs of older adult as well as working with younger individuals who require in-patient rehabilitation.
Successful candidates will be working in a supportive, patient centred, multi-disciplinary focussed area with access to appropriate training and development opportunities.

As part of our commitment to children and young people, and in line with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014, appointment to positions that involve regular or overnight contact with children will include worker safety checks.

MidCentral District Health Board employs more than 2500 staff at Manawatu, Palmerston North, Tararua and Horowhenua and Otaki districts.
Palmerston North Hospital is a 350 bed secondary hospital, which services an urban population of 80,000 and a total population catchment of 168,000.
In addition, the hospital is a teaching hospital, and is associated with both Auckland and Otago medical schools.
Palmerston North is a major university city and is at the hub of key routes to the central North Island ski fields, and river adventures.
