The campaign runs throughout the North Island of New Zealand every year in the seven weeks leading up to Christmas. This means students can work hard for a short time period, then have New Years and January off!As a seller you get the chance to "run your own business," the more you sell, the more you earn.
This means you are paid commission per bucket sold. You are given a sales territory which you have exclusive rights to. It is your job to sell treats and spread the joy of Christmas to every corner of it.
This role is a full-time position. 40 hours per week are expected from sellers. In saying this, top sellers will go above and beyond this.
All sellers will receive training prior to the campaign and ongoing support throughout. You are paid on a commission only basis per unit sold .
The amount you earn will depend on the level of effort that you put in.Average total earnings over the period for sellers was $6,000 with some sellers reaching up to $10,000.
The skills you will acquire are priceless, and are a fantastic addition to any CV. This unique experience is unlike any other summer job.
