We have an opening in our busy medical centre, The Doctors Mount Wellington

Nurses in General Practice make a difference to the health and wellbeing of people, whānau and their communities. They contribute towards improving equitable health outcomes and provide advanced, high quality nursing care in high performing multidisciplinary team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join the nursing team at The Doctors Mount Wellington We are looking for someone who can bring clinical excellence and a passion for improving the health of the community.

You will be working with skilled clinical and administration colleagues and be supported by a dedicated medical centre leadership team.

This is a part time role working 2 days per week - Monday and Tuesday - 8.30am to 5.30pm

Do you have what we are looking for?

A current New Zealand practicing certificate is essential

Prior experience in a medical centre is desirable

Competent in areas of nursing in primary care

Willing to continually learn and improve

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build strong rapport with team members

You will ideally hold current CPR certificate

Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential

Computer literate
