About the role

With your well-developed strategic oversight and leadership abilities, you will have the opportunity to lead your team to influence and engage with the public and the aviation sector.

This role is pivotal in ensuring to modernise our services and ensure they remain relevant.

We expect that you will work across the organisation, work closely with the sector to actively listen to their feedback and to create products and services that will continue to inform and educate our audiences in a dynamic way.

You will be expected to use your influencing skills to raise awareness of aviation safety and security and how this can be used to meet our obligations under the Act and to continually support evolving technologies and informed decision making.

You will report to the Deputy Chief Executive Organisational Development and Support but will also be working across the Authority Leadership team to own the stakeholder and sector engagement strategy and deliver on engagement and communication outcomes.

The Authority is implementing change to deliver better regulatory outcomes and safe and secure skies to help New Zealand fly’.
