Auckland City, AucklandFull-time, Part-timeFull Time / Part TimePermanentRemuneration as per MECA guidelinesWe are seeking both experienced and New Graduate Occupational Therapists with an interest in rehabilitation to join our Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation inpatient services based at Middlemore Hospital.

As one of a team of Occupational Therapists you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of a clinically and culturally diverse client group.

You will use your expertise to provide occupationally focused assessments and interventions based on meaningful occupations for older adult clients requiring rehabilitation including orthopaedic, amputee, neurological, general medical and surgical conditions.

The role involves working autonomously and as part of an inter-disciplinary team. CMH fully supports ongoing education and development of all employees including regular supervision and weekly in-services.

  • NZ Registered Occupational Therapist with a current practising certificate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Full current NZ driver's licenseDesired
  • Experience working in rehabilitation
  • Accessible accreditation in wheelchairs and seating
  • Experience supervising students and junior staffEmployment Package
  • Refund of your annual practising certificate cost, as per policy guidelines
