ResponsibilitiesA very much sought after opportunity has arisen to join DHL Supply Chain New Zealand as HR Advisor. This is an exciting and dynamic role that is part of a team of talented and dedicated advisors responsible for the delivery of best in class HR services to the business.

A key focus of the role is to ensure the services provided enable the business to perform at its best. Equally important will be continuing to develop and grow you and your team’s capability.

Do you have a passion to engage with all stakeholders in both employment and industrial relations? The team requires an individual who is driven to learn, develop and build their career within a fast moving multi-national organisation.

You will be supported by the National HR Manager and a talented HR Team. Working with managers, front line leaders, employee representatives, and logistics employees within DHL Supply Chain, you will be providing high quality support and advice on all people related challenges and opportunities.

You may have experience working in a unionised workplace and feel comfortable in this environment. Additionally, this position is responsible for recruitment within your internal customer base, and you also may be provided with the opportunity to lead and manage general HR projects.

RequirementsWe’re looking for somebody who has : 3-5 years practical HR experience, coupled with a tertiary qualification in HRKnowledge of current NZ employment lawExcellent relationship management and customer service skills.

  • There is a strong emphasis on providing a high level of internal customer support so you’ll need to thrive in a fast paced environment where we work at pace, to tight deadlines, while maintaining high standardsExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation and training skillsIntermediate PC skills with the full range of MS Office applicationsExcellent planning and organisational skills (including time management and prioritisation)Mature approach, discretion and sound judgementStrong attention to detailThe ability to partner and influence othersThe ability to work both independently and as part of a close teamTransport or 3PL Logistic experience would be advantageous but not necessaryThis position is located at our Auckland Airport location;
