Peke Waihanga- Artificial Limb Service is a Crown Entity that provides prosthetic, orthotic and rehabilitation services to patients across New Zealand.

Our vision is 'independent and productive lives for the people we care for'.We have a new vacancy for an experienced Prosthetic Technician in our Auckland Centre.

In order to broaden the skill set in the Auckland workshop, we are seeking a technician who has previous experience in the maintenance and repair of prosthetic devices for patients.

You will need to be competent and confident in working with prosthetists to fabricate quality prosthetic devices to prescription.

Along with the skills and experience you bring to Peke Waihanga, you will receive on the job training’ in areas that you are not familiar with.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following experience or attributes : Service genuine desire to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of life by manufacturing and repairing customised prosthetic limbs, orthotics and orthopaedic devices to required standards.

Expert Workforce experience working as a prosthetic technician, an eye for detail and a keen interest in your professional development.
