About the roleGrand Millennium Auckland is looking a full time Security Manager. This is a broad position where you will oversee all the security services to ensure the safety of all staff and guests, as well as the security of all assets.

Key Responsibilities : Completion of all office correspondence and registers, such as Incident reports, Daily Security shift logs, Key register etc Regular patrols of all the Hotel areasMonitor and report maintenance & environmental issues to the relevant departmentsIssuing of access cards to all personnelIssuing card park access cards.

Liaise with all leased car park clientsOverseas the safety of hotel staff, guests and hotel assets at all timesMonitoring of CCTV camerasTo remove and escort unwanted visitors from the premises and issue trespass notices when requiredBenefitsCareer development and nationally accredited training opportunitiesDiscounted hotel rates nationwideDiscounted Food & Beverage in hotel outletsMeals on dutySkills and ExperiencePrevious Security / Police industry experience 2 or more yearsRelevant Security qualifications COA (certificate of Approval)First Aid CertificateManagers certificate Liquor LicensingStrong verbal and written communicationCustomer Service and people management skillsKnowledge of Windows based software applicationsPrevious Hospitality industry experience preferredGood organisational skills and a high level of presentationTeam player with the ability to work under pressureIn this full time role, you’ll predominantly be working weekdays, but will need to be available evenings, weekends, overnights and public holidays as required.
