This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering University Student to join a collaborative team in Blenheim for a paid internship.

  • Working within a highly skilled team, you will assist with conducting design engineering activities on rotary and fixed wing aircraft, propulsion systems and ground support equipment;
  • using your industry knowledge and / or tertiary training to deliver world class design data.

    About you

    To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have completed Year 2 or 3 of an engineering degree at universityHave a passion for aviation.
  • Be able to use coherent engineering theory and understanding.
  • Have some interest in the civil or military airworthiness process
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to articulate design concepts clearly and to write concise instructions and reports.
  • About the role :

    You will liaise and negotiate with your peers, mechanical engineers, customers, manufacturers and regulatory authorities on technical matters as they come to hand.

    It will be expected that you can quickly familiarise yourself with Airbus design procedures and prepare design data. You will be involved in projects that will develop and extend your technical and professional skills.
