The opportunity

EY Law is part of the expanding EY legal network, an international law firm with offices in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas with a truly global footprint, comprising over 3,500 lawyers across 80 countries.

Whether acting for a client in a single legal capacity or as part of a formal multi-service EY engagement, you will have the chance to work on a range of interesting and varied matters to help shape and inform the most pressing issues for our clients to help answer tomorrow’s problems today.

Your key responsibilities

  • Involvement in corporate and commercial transactions both domestic and international; including conducting due diligence and drafting transaction documentation
  • Providing technical legal advice
  • Contract drafting on a range of commercial matters
  • Developing relationships with key members of other services lines within EY
  • Skills and attributes for success

    To qualify for the role you must have

  • Strong research and drafting skills with the ability to work with pace
  • Excellent business writing and analytical skills
  • The ability to deliver legal advice in a clear succinct manner that makes sense to non-lawyers
  • Natural ability to build rapport
  • Committed self-learner who can be agile and resilient in an ever-changing environment
  • Natural interest and curiosity in technology and the development of law
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • An exposure to transactions, due diligence and / or contractual drafting
  • Experience working with the Big 4
