He angitūtanga : About the Role
The role sits within DOC's Business Partnerships Team, which is a small team of distributed staff based across the country who broker conservation partnerships with business sectors and business leaders.
You will manage existing business partnerships and work with DOC team members to support the brokering and negotiation of new partnerships, and ensure that these are strong, deep and enduring.
Additionally you will build strong relationships to drive widespread conservation and restoration activity with the business sector.

Success in this position will come from understanding how conservation and business goals can be aligned. You will be a grounded and credible person who is a confident and effective communicator, with strong business acumen and able to influence at a senior level.
You will demonstrate an understanding, empathy and commitment in working with Tangata Whenua as DOC's Treaty Partner.
Above all, you will be passionate about conservation growth in New Zealand.
