Effectively manage and grow a portfolio of financial lines clients ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met.

The Role

  • Ensure that the client’s risk management and insurance broking objectives are determined and actioned to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Manage the client relationship in accordance with company service and compliance procedures
  • Renewal process to be completed resulting in no outstanding renewals
  • Pipeline accuracy and quality maintained on a regular basis
  • Increase the number of potential clients and the weighted value of the pipeline
  • Maximisation of the revenue generated from the existing client base through continual analysis of client profitability and maximisation of group facilities
  • Premium funding to be offered to all clients
  • Debtor collections in accordance with terms of trade
  • Explore all up selling and cross selling opportunities
  • Support the new business development process within the team, to gain new business for the group.
  • Provide assistance to other brokers in the team when required
  • The Requirements

  • You have excellent attention to detail
  • You have a proven ability to understand and meet a client’s needs
  • You have qualifications (or equivalent) in accordance with the Financial Services legislation Amendment Act
  • Your excellent report writing skills are supported by a reasonable level of competency in Word and Excel and knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Your oral and written communication skills are outstanding
  • Your time management skills keep you ahead of your schedule and workload
  • You are professional, reliable, and able to work autonomously with minimal guidance
  • We’ll love your drive, ambition, and focus on excellence
  • Previous financial lines experience would be ideal but is not a mandatory requirement.
