We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to work at our Senior Living site in Point Chevalier, Auckland. Hours of work are Permanent Full Time , Saturday to Wednesday 09 : 15 - 17 : 15 with Thursday and Friday as days off.
Your responsibilities :
In this position you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving quality English-style meals and snacks according to dietitian specifications and ensuring the quality of every dish we serve! You will need to assist with ordering as well as, maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and follow the site food safety and health and safety plans.
You will also be providing excellent customer service and assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.
Ideal skills and experience :
If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, trustworthy, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
Ideally you will already have experience in cooking and baking and experience in a cross section of the industry. Ideally you hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English and have good English cuisine cooking skills. You will have superior customer service skills but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
