The Role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This position will be working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with occasional afterhours calls only. You will be looking after Bay of Plenty region.
This role will ensure matching applicant needs to available housing options and maintaining their tenancies once applicants have been housed appropriately.
The responsibilities will also include completing documentation and RTA compliance requirements, monitoring and following up on rent and other liable payments.
Also ensuring that tenants are aware and adhering to the Residential Tenancy Act 1986. Making sure that tenancies are well maintained and all repairs are delivered in a cost- effective and timely manner.
You Mōu
We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have a background in housing with property management, administration and strong cross team collaboration experience.
Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you will commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with LinkPeople.
This needs to be completed within six months of starting your employment. LinkPeople offers significant support for Tenancy Managers to complete this study.
You’ll have at least 2 years of experience in property management and administration
You’ll have the ability to work effectively and proactively across multiple teams both internally and externally to support our most vulnerable in the community in a tenancy setting
Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986
Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Full New Zealand driver’s licence
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
