  • You will be a key member of our Allied Health team
  • You will be assisting with group activities & supervise individual activities across our inpatient and community settings
  • Your main focus will be to work with patients, as delegated by Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Social Workers
  • As an Allied Health Assistant you will be workingacross our Allied Health Services based in one of our locality teams (Westport,Greymouth or Hokitika).

    You will be working alongside and assisting our AlliedHealth teams in their work with adults and children, in our hospital and healthcentres, in community settings and in peoples’ homes.

    It is an excellent rolefor someone who may be looking for their first role in a Health Environment ora passionate care giver who is wanting to make the shift into wellbeing andrehabilitation oriented roles.

    You will also be supported in your furthercareer development starting with Careerforce Level 3 training within your first12 months in the role.
