We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Adviser to join the Planning team to work across a range of resource management topics including : air quality, iwi, biodiversity, hazards, coastal and freshwater.
With professional guidance and support from a new Manager, the team are making positive progress towards implementing a fully integrated second generation plan for Nelson.
Key focus areas for this role include leading the coastal hazards portfolio and engaging in the development of our climate change response.
You will have regional policy planning experience working with the Resource Management Act. Your experience will complement your written and verbal communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
You will actively engage with the Nelson community and present clear information and feedback to Council.
