You will work as part of the team to provide quality stakeholder support to a number of roading / civil projects for our maintenance contract.

Communication is key when creating community engagement. As our Stakeholder Representative, your focus will be on the community and other local groups and parties who have an interest in the activity within our roading / civil projects and maintenance contracts.

This will include but not be limited to the local community, public groups, clients and internal stakeholders. Your primary role will be to develop and foster effective community engagement, with the intention of providing a conduit for information and discussions between our projects and the interests of the community.

The role will require someone who is willing to take a hands on approach and who will be ready to roll up their sleeves and really get involved.

To be successful in this role, you will be someone with a solid background in communications and stakeholder liaison, or a closely related field.

You will be someone who is highly effective in a role that requires for you to work relatively autonomously. Your interpersonal skills will be a natural strength, however you will be able to demonstrate your ability to have constructive conversations with groups where your negotiation skills and ability to influence people will have been instrumental in your success.
