About the role
The Microsoft 365 Engineer is a part of the End User Services Team.This team provides our business customers with modern mobile deviceswhichallow them to work from almost anywhere at any time.
We wrap effective supportservices around these devices in the form of a Service Desk team; Microsoftsupport; robust ITIL practices and strong internal and external partnerships.
The role combines governance and technology strategy with hands-onapplication. To be successful you will have experience at leading the creating,configuration and implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions.
You will bringyour real-world experience as a Microsoft SME, ensuring that any solutions thatare implemented remain compliant with GW ICT security policy.
This role is pivotal in ensuring we maximisethe value of GW’s investment in Microsoft technologies.
Skills and experience required
Successful experiencedeveloping, implementing and supporting M365 and its predecessor components (includingWindows10, Autopilot, Intune, PowerShell) for at least 3 years in similar sizedorganisations.
Proven troubleshootingskills on the Microsoft 365 platform, including demonstrating use of MS Office365 Admin Centre and Notification Centre management.
Expertise relating toExchange Server and Active Directory : features, roles, configurations andservices available.
Experience supporting thewider Microsoft stack would be an advantage.
Provencollaboration skills required in an agile delivery environment.
Customer centric skills : including ability totranslate complex technical concepts, professionalism and excellent follow-up.
A desire to continuously learn, improve and embracethe latest technologies.
