Who are we looking for?

Systems (Business) Analysts are responsible for translating customer and business requirements into a software design that fits within the Vista framework.

It involves scoping, requirements gathering, gap analysis and functional design.

A collaborative and consultative approach is required to ensure that the proposed design has the buy-in of stakeholders at all levels across the business.

An understanding of both the end user perspective and the technical perspective is critical.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to analyse business-related functions and draft functional requirements and design specifications for supporting those functions.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and a willingness to support new or improved approaches to solving business problems.
  • Understanding of application programming, database and system design.
  • Knowledge of BA and software design processes, tools and techniques.
  • Basic SQL knowledge (database tables and relationships).
  • Willingness to act on own initiative as well as being an effective team member.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with people at all levels across the company.
  • 3 or more years’ relevant experience in the software industry is preferred.
  • Degree qualified in IT (preferred).
  • Professional Business Analyst qualifications preferred but not essential.
