    The Position

    Heritage Lifecare is a trusted aged care provider to over 2,500 people, providing residential aged care services and care homes throughout New Zealand.

    Puriri Court Lifecare is a 72-bed care home and hospital set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, and close to Whangarei’s city centre.

    Our team is built on the foundation of respecting individuals, both residents and staff. We pride ourselves on creating a Better everyday everyday’ for our residents.

    As a Registered Nurse, you will lead a team of dedicated Caregivers to the delivery of positive resident outcomes as well as developing and monitoring care plans, conducting clinical assessments, and acting as a trusted liaison between families / whanau, GPs, and other health professionals.

    Our residents are friendly and welcoming and appreciate the care being provided. Within an uplifting environment, you will be working alongside inspiring and caring leaders and provided with leadership and management development to support your career growth.

    You will bring

  • Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • Experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Aged Care industry would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a multiskilled team, and independently
  • Effective time management and prioritising skills
  • Experience supporting and mentoring others
