Linc3’s mandate is to enable WNZL to be durably compliant with RBNZ’s Outsourcing Policy whilst leveraging the scale and scope of change to deliver material value aligned to WNZL’s strategy.
The programme has Five core work streams involving most WNZL business units, WBC and external vendors with deliverables scheduled through to FY22.
About the role : In this role, you are responsible for supporting the Head of Linc3 Programme to provide effective and proactive governance of Linc3 Risk matters, including delivery and delivered risk frameworks, insights that support strategic business outcomes, and management of Linc3 Risk requirements, such as BCP Planning.
You will have outstanding skills in engagement, and have a natural ability to lead, train and influence positive outcomes.
You will actively promote the ongoing development of Risk frameworks as well as execute on all related activities. Essentially, you will be the subject matter expert and point of contact for all matters relating to Risk for the Linc3 Programme.
Some of the key accountabilities to be successful in this role : Serves as the risk management expert providing leadership and meaningful input to ensure risk data is captured, risk mitigation strategies and controls are developed, and appropriate reporting mechanisms are implementedInterpreting, implementing, embedding and facilitating all activities relating to Risk frameworks within Linc3 Programme.
Including : Establishing and managing a Delivered Risk Assessment framework ensuring that the output of Delivered Risk activities is fit for purpose and consistent with the existing business unit operational risk profiles.
Establishing and managing a Delivery Risk framework.Ensuring timely and accurate reporting for all areas under accountabilityEnsuring accuracy and completeness of all related material in support of Risk including : incident management, risk profiles, attestations, invocation, Business Continuity Management.

Skills and Experience : Degree and / or recognised Risk Management qualifications, CA / CISA big four (Auditing and / or Advisory)Recognised Risk professional as defined by peers / prior roles / references5-
7 years’ experience within banking and financial services with a strong understanding of bank processes and policies.Experience with Delivered Risk approaches and managing Delivery Risk across a large programme of work.
Sound knowledge of NZ banking legislation and regulations such as BS11.Risk Advisory and / or law firm focus on regulation, products development, privacy, data protection etc.
