The JobThe Te Ahu a Turanga : Manawatū Tararua Highway Alliance is a major undertaking in the Manawatū region, to replace the slip damaged Manawatū Gorge.
Once complete, the project will provide a much-needed link through the ranges, and will mean travelling through the area will be much safer.
Consisting of 11.5km of new 4-lane road, 5 million cubic metres of earthworks, and 6 bridges, the project will provide employment opportunities in the region over the life of the project through to .
The Te Ahu a Turanga Alliance consists of Waka Kotahi - NZTA, Local Iwi, Fulton Hogan, HEB Construction, Aurecon, and WSP.

You will help plan and execute telecommunications, electrical and civil works, while working closely with key utility authorities.
Be part of our great team and work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.As a Utilities Site Engineer, you will have experience in civil infrastructure or roading projects and at least five years’ practical experience working closely with Project Engineers supporting them on a range of site activities.
You will have demonstrable experience on similar projects as well as : A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, NZCE or other relevant tertiary education and knowledge of New Zealand standardsOn-site project experience with sound knowledge of utilitiesStrong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage great relationships with clients, stakeholders and within the teamAn uncompromising attitude towards health and safety and quality and commitment to leading by exampleA desire to advance your career!Fulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
