Does helping to make life better for millions of people motivate you We re looking for people who start the day with this desire to improve outcomes for healthcare professionals and their patients It s what gets us up in the morning It s what drives our marketleading solutions that make a difference for millions Help us improve healthcare outcomes and make your mark in a growing healthcare company ABOUT THE JOB Location Wellington Region Dunedin New Zealand Product Portfolio Surgical Products Territory Wellington Region Dunedin and Invercargill Job Type Work from homeField Based Full time Permanent job Identify and develop business opportunities for the Molnlycke brand within targeted accounts in order to maximise sales and contribution growth Develop the Molnlycke brand profile with key decision makers and build added value relationships to ensure company sales targets are met Maintain existing accounts while growing and diversifying into new accounts Be fully conversant with Molnlyckes goals corporate strategy and processes and agile to respond to new objectives Respect respond and provide excellent customer service and partnership ACCOUNTABILITIES Achieve agreed sales targets for specified products to ensure that overall company growth is achieved Promote surgical products to accounts thereby building sales and relationships Working in partnership to achieve the best outcome Identify key decision makers in key accounts to ensure maximum sales are achieved in each account Identify current usage and support forecasting requirements in key accounts using appropriate reporting systems Develop and maintain Territory Business Plans in order to identify potential volume and gains Analyse sales data and update Territory Business plan to ensure sales targets are achieved Become competent and capable with related computer systems for product selection and development of customized products Seek market information on competitor activities and products to help shape accurate strategies and marketing campaigns Have a full understanding of the State Contract PHARMAC framework Identify opportunities for new tenders and changes to existing tenders so that maximum sales increase may be realised Manage all tender activity in the territory in a proactive way so that we manage the process to the full advantage of Molnlycke KEY DECISIONS Selection of Key accounts based on the opportunities presenting Prioritization of activity to ensure efficient and effective use of selling time Selection of Key Opinion Leader s to develop for the territory to give a network of product champions Attendance of local conferences Response to local tender submissions SKILLS Advanced skills in analysing sales data gathering and understanding customer and market insight Experience in selling into operating theatres would be an advantage Excellent communication and presentation skills Competent ability in excel word and powerpoint QUALIFICATIONS A degree in science or any course equivalent Has a good understanding experience in business especially in sales At least 3 to 5 years of work experience from any field A medical sales experience is an advantage
