About the team and the role We are looking for an experienced project, programme and portfolio (P3M) delivery specialist to add breadth and depth to our highly successful team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Deloitte teams on complex technology projects and programmes for our clients, and advising clients on programme management, structure and effectiveness.
Typical engagements include :
Management and execution of complex end-to-end technology projects and programmes
Advisory work in relation to programme business cases, planning, P3M methodologies and effective delivery techniques
Assessment and quality assurance of projects and programmesWe work for a wide range of clients in multiple industries, and we collaborate with a number of technology vendors and specialist service providers.
The role will not typically involve acting as an individual project or programme manager we are looking for someone who knows how to take ownership of project outcomes and lead a Deloitte team.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone with experience in : Programme and Project Delivery
Full responsibility at the delivery level for personnel, finance, reporting, planning, contract management and project delivery
Full responsibility to maintain and continuously improve high quality service standards for internal and external clients
Contributing to the development and growth of a consulting practice
Operating to best practice traditional and agile standards and methods
Consistent compliance with internal quality management systems and quality assurance
Leading project tendering, briefings, negotiations and appointment of project consultants on behalf of Deloitte and our clients as required
Leading hybrid teams with client and sub-contractor personnel, including managing the relevant contractual and governance arrangements
Ability to manage more than one client engagement and contribution to parallel internal initiatives
Experience and understanding of continuous delivery methods including continuous integration / continuous deployments (CI / CD), and automation.
Knowledge of technical delivery topics including data migration, integration, and testing. People
Being a leader who promotes a strong team culture and good communication
Ensuring all team members are fully effective in their roles, and are engaged in ongoing development through training
Regular support with clear direction for team members, as well as frequent performance and personal development reviews
Planning personnel needs and recruitment of new team members
Career coaching staff outside your project team Clients
Actively managing high quality client delivery and nurturing ongoing relationships
Building personal networks to develop new business from existing and desired clients
Leading teams to positively represent the company to clients and other stakeholders
Working with leadership across the organisation to identify, tender for and secure new business Qualifications
8+ years technology delivery experience
3+ years in a professional services organisation
Proven ability to lead business development activities
Experience in recruitment, management and development of employees
