Airport Oaks, Auckland, New Zealand)ABOUT THE JOBAs a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will join our QA team of 6 part of the wider Quality and Food Safety team, located at our production plant in Airport Oaks.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working night shifts (5 : 45pm-6am) with the main purpose of ensuring Quality support, monitor and advice / resources are available for our Production Shift Managers and Operations staff.

  • You will : Investigate issues on the line and be able to risk assess confidently on the spot and provide actions to continue production being the sole Quality person in charge for your shiftsImplement effective corrective and preventative actions for non-conformances and ensure they are not reoccurringManage in-process inspection of released of raw and packaging materials for production useCoordinate with HACCP & Validation team in factory validation & verification requirementsEnsure factory internal & external compliance to GMP & GHP requirements;
  • participate in internal audits & train plant operators for Food Safety and HACCP processesABOUT YOUYou must have a tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent.

    You succeed in a fast-paced environment and have a pragmatic and confident approach to your work.To be successful you will have : Solid hands-on experience in a Quality Assurance role in the food manufacturing industryStrong working knowledge of GMP / GHP, HACCP, food handling or pathogen trainingAbility to make sound decisions and be responsible for the Quality output of our night shift ProductionStrong problem-solving and communication skillsThe drive and resilience needed to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentABOUT USDanone’s mission is Bringing health through food to as many people as possible and we want to invite people to join the movement for a healthier world.
