He angitūtanga : The opportunityWe have a unique opportunity for a Waste Advisor to join the Waste Contracts and Compliance team.
Tamaki Makaurau is going through unprecedented growth. With this comes expanding needs to do things better and faster, and to find people that can hit the ground running and adapt to an ever-changing landscape.
This raises the challenge to better manage Auckland’s waste through waste minimisation and behaviour change activities and better innovative approaches to diversion.
This is an opportunity for you to provide expertise in contract management, relationship management and Customer service delivery.
Working collaboratively, you will manage contracts and relationships using a partnering approach that includes tracking and reporting on budgets, deliverables, and quality management, while assisting with daily activities and stakeholder management.
Day to day you will be working with and supporting the Contracts and Compliance team managing C & C operations and providing oversight for existing and new services.
You will monitor and report on the performance and progress of service providers and service agreements to help deliver excellent Customer service and satisfaction.
He kōrero mōu : About youYou are passionate about waste minimisation and delivering excellent Customer service. You have strong operational experience in a waste management environment or a similar operational environment.
You have managed contracts, solved challenging problems and developed collaborative relationships with stakeholders and service providers.
It is an advantage to have sound technical and working knowledge of the Waste Minimisation Act, the Solid Waste Bylaws and any other relevant legislation.
A relevant tertiary qualification is required and skills and experience in compliance and enforcement are also helpful.This role involves field operations and audits so you need to have a valid and clean full NZ drivers licence.
