making it an effortless, more secure and more delightful experience. Keen to be involved? We thought so.
We're looking for an Agile Team Facilitator (ATF) to join our Wellington team. You'll be responsible for providing hands-
on support to a business tribe and its teams, on how they can improve their product delivery capability; how they can get quicker feedback and better outcomes.
You'll be comfortable and experienced using a mix of Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking practices (you'll love them all equally, and realise context is the key), in order to deliver great outcomes.
All in all, you'll be a bit of a people geek!
What we need you to do :
Facilitating team events, discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Championing agile and lean values and principles, to help the team deliver value to our customers
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgement, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
Assessing the agile fluency of the teams and coaching them to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable.
Servant leadership - empowering teams rather than telling them what to do.
Establishing appropriate metrics on which to base prioritisation and team decisions.
Helping teams to hold themselves accountable to one another and their stakeholders for what they have agreed to do in terms of outcomes, work, their retrospective actions and behaviours
Guiding teams to identify, prioritise, and pursue self-improvement initiatives.
Assisting with internal and external team communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments themselves.
Growing their own skills to progress in the craft.
You'll be perfect for us if you have :
Experience of working in an agile environment
Experience of agile frameworks and approaches (e.g. Scrum and Kanban) in a complex environment.
Knowledge and experience of practices and techniques and for identifying, defining, communicating, and delivering customer value.
Knowledge and experience of practices and techniques for promoting team self-organisation from both agile and lean approaches.
Excellent skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
A people geek, with awesome communication and collaboration skills.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity. BNZ is an award-winning, forward-thinking, diverse and inclusive organisation with an ambitious change agenda.
We're bold thinkers who are taking brave steps to create a company that people want to work for, and customers want to bank with.
