EA Deputy Secretary EA Director Would you like to work as part of a collaborative and energetic team in a central Wellington location Two exciting opportunities have arisen to work in the Financial Commercial and Capital Markets teams About the roles We are looking for two experienced Executive Assistants one supporting the Deputy Secretary Financial and Commercial and one supporting the Director Capital Markets In these roles you are able to be their partner in identifying priorities fielding communications and ensuring their time is spent in the right places and knowing when and where not to pull them out of a meeting If you are committed to delivering a high standard of administrative support are continuously thinking how you can do this better and are known for being onestep ahead then these are the opportunities for you About you Using your great organisational and time management skills you will be exceptional at email and diary management To be successful in the role you will Preempt the Deputy Secretarys Directors needs exercise judgement based on those needs and coordinate information and resources for their commitments Be taskdriven complex diary and email management but also play a key strategic support role Be innovative and creative in thinking through issues and problems Be able to multitask prioritise and react to issues that arise during the day whilst keeping calm and professional in demanding situations Be agile and flexible to changing needs and expectations Have highly developed communication skills both written and verbal with stakeholders Have excellent planning and organisational skills in a complex work environment including time and workflow management and prioritising tasks and responsibilities Be able to negotiate and influence Coordinate organise and execute requirements for meetings Prepare and draft correspondence including emails reports and documents Focus on getting the details right Be able to work independently and as part of team Have proven experience with MSOffice suite Who we are The Treasury is New Zealands lead advisor to the Government on economic and financial policy Our vision is to be a worldleading Treasury working towards higher living standards for New Zealanders The Deputy Secretary Financial and Commercial is responsible for the Capital Markets Commercial Infrastructure and Urban Growth portfolios and is also the Chair of the Treasurys Capital Markets Advisory Committee The Capital Markets team are responsible for the delivery of four key functions managing the Crowns borrowing needs through debt management provision of corporate treasury services to departments monitoring of Crown Financial Institutions and supporting exporters through the provision of trade credit insurance and financial guarantees We Can Offer Fantastic exposure to a central government agency with interesting and varied work The ongoing support of a wider Business Support cohort A commitment to providing work and training opportunities that support your development The Treasury values diversity amongst its employees and encourages a positive work life balance Please talk to us about flexible working arrangements Applications close Monday 21 October 2019 All applications must be made online When submitting your application youll be able to indicate which opportunity you are interested in Please see the attached Job Description for further detail and for more information please contact Jenny Porter Team Leader Business Support jenny porter treasury govt nz LIRS1
