Central to Spark Sport's strategy is the creation of an exciting, intuitive and innovative customer experience. This role is key to the delivery of that strategy.

As the Product Manager for Spark Sport, you will be involved in setting the direction for the Spark Sport customer experience and product backlog across all web, mobile and connected TV applications.

Role Description : Proactively track and act on customer metrics and KPI's for Spark SportProactively track other global sports OTT video services to identify trendsCommission customer research to gain insights and inform product decisionsHelp define and prioritise the Spark Sport product backlog, taking into account customer and business valueEngage with key stakeholders to inform business priorities for the product backlogDocument product and user requirements for new features and enhancementsWork collaboratively with Design to translate requirements into world class digital user experiencesPrioritise product backlog items to be pulled into upcoming development sprintsWork with the agile delivery team to ensure they are clear on the product backlog itemsWork with the agile delivery team to break down product backlog items into manageable tasks and user storiesWork closely with the QA team to validate new features and to triage and prioritise defectsTake a leadership role in removing external blockers and supporting improved ways of working with the agile delivery teamLead and participate in sprint demos to ensure all stakeholders are aware of pending changes to the customer experienceTake a lead role in guiding and overseeing the work undertaken by any third party development partnersManage the release approval process for new deployments, ensure release notes are distributed to all key stakeholdersKey Requirements : Customer centric insights-led approach to product managementPreferably with a passion for sportProven leadership experience, preferably in video product development and managementBroad understanding of and experience with product roadmap definition, product design, usability testingExperience working in an agile development environment, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, GithubExperience developing data driven product hypotheses to inform the product roadmapStrong written and verbal communications skillsComfortable presenting to all levels from peers and colleagues to executive leadershipExperience working to tight deadlines and the ability to make quick decisions and compromises when required
