What you will do
As the Logistics Business Intelligence Analytics Capability (BIAC) Manager, you'll be accountable for ensuring that logistics analytics initiatives are performed well and that outputs and conclusions are presented in a clear, concise and business-relevant manner to provide leadership with enhanced strategic intelligence on logistics.
After being established for 10 years the Defence Logistics Command (DLC) has proven its worth to the NZDF and is currently building the required capability to support NZDF's future logistics requirements.
As part of this substantial investment a Business Intelligence and Analytics Capability is being established within the Command to help drive the future direction.
This investment in people comes hand in hand with the establishment of the required logistics management information system capability, so you'll be able to influence the development of an influential analytics practice from the ground up.
What we need
To be successful in this role, you'll have well-developed analytical skills with scientific rigour and excellent documentation skills.
You will also have the ability to think strategically and innovatively about improvement and new ways of working to improve analytics, metric and KPI's.

Who we are
Defence Logistics Command (DLC) supports the NZDF by providing logistics, and shared services to the single Services and HQ Joint Forces NZ.
DLC provides logistics policy and advice internally to the NZDF and externally to NZDF's stakeholders on an All of Government (AoG) basis.
