    Valeriia Savenko who was previously IOT and Mixed Reality Product Lead and has now changed roles to be an App Innovation Specialist in the Enterprise team, shares, The role has helped me learn how Microsoft comes together across marketing, partner, sales and engineering to support customers on their digital transformation journey.

    Role Guide

    The IOT and Mixed Reality Azure Product Manager mobilizes our internal teams, driving a compete culture through differentiated strategy through partners and identifying gaps using internal and market data to work with Corporate HQ and Area leadership team to win.

    Win the Customers : Activates win the customer mindset, using data to identify key industries and executes through solution product teams to move the needle plan on transitioning customers to cloud at scale.

    Win the Market : Become the trusted advisor to Area LT with data-driven strategic approach to market opportunities. Change our way of working to capture net new opportunities through forward-looking market insights to increase market share and share of growth.

    Effective resourcing and investment planning to ensure we have the right coverage on acquisition and depth. Communicate the insights to both Area LT and field sellers.

    Responsibilities

    Go-to-Market Planning and Execution :

  • Own the local product strategy in accordance with growth ambitions and share of wallet. Use corporate guidance to align Azure Priorities and Programs & Investments
  • Work with our local teams such as marketing, specialists, partners, engineering, skilling to drive demand for your product, capability, and capacity.
  • Maintain product knowledge and evangelize the product internally and externally to enthusiasts, influencers, sales
  • Act as the voice of the field by ensuring timely updates / feedback to corporate on Azure Priority execution and performance in Area / Subsidiary
  • Drive Business Outcomes :

  • Monitor and understand Azure Priority Performance; Orchestrate execution to deliver on business metrics related to the Rhythm of Connections (ROC) and course correct the GTM plans with the business owners to deliver results.
  • Best Practice identification and sharing across the Area / Subsidiaries and with corporate to exponentially sale successful performance.
  • Skills & Knowledge

    This individual will have a strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and data-driven application patterns, including IoT (across the high-level value proposition down to the mid-technical level) and will have a passion driving impactful customer scenarios and growth strategies.

    The individual will be the voice of AI, IoT, and data-driven applications within Azure for Australia and will represent Microsoft in front of partners and customers and at key events.

    They must be able to articulate the local application technology landscape and develop product differentiation by leveraging corporate and local research, partner insights, and customer feedback.

    Education

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • IOT or Mixed Reality expertise preferred
