Our Data and Analytics team is located at the centre of the organisation. They enable an eco-system for fact-based decision-making to guide better data driven decisions, including asset management and investment, grid operations (ensuring continuous electricity supply), and market trading (carbon, gas, and electricity).
The team supports the business by investigating and interrogating our data to create new value which flows from one part of the business to another and will ultimately help in achieving our strategy and a more renewable energy future.

What will you bring?
You are someone with enduring professional curiosity who approaches problems from varied perspectives. Your outstanding communication and influencing skills and problem-solving ability underpins the way you generate information and insights that provoke action.
Experience working in large (ideally technical) corporate environments with vast amounts of structured and unstructured data from a range of sources will have honed your ability to deliver solutions to internal customer groups and stakeholders.
To be shortlisted your CV and cover letter will clearly convey
g. visual analytics, machine learning) using Python
g. Cloudera, AWS, Azure, Snowflake
Whilst not essential - qualifications that hone problem solving skills e.g. Engineering Science, Electrical and Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering will be highly regarded.
