Job DescriptionThe opportunity Te Whiwhinga mahiFixed Term Role till December.We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Employment Relations Adviser to support our HR professionals.

You will be immersed within this well respected central HR Advisory unit. Reporting to Employment Relations Manager and Legal Counsel, you will advise and support the HR Advisors and HR Managers through Employment Relations matters.

Success will be measured through your ability to help mitigate risk and support positive employee and business outcomes.

With a collaborative working style, you will contribute to engagement with the Unions and provide legal expertise in preparations for collective bargaining.

About you He kōrero mōuAs an experienced Employment Relations specialist you will ideally have the following skills : Knowledge of relevant employment legislation including the Employment Relations Act and Health and Safety legislationExperienced in resolving ER issues.

Working in partnership to build capability by developing, coaching and mentoring HR Managers and Advisers.Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills.

The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively to provide advice, including drafting letters and in written correspondence and reports.
