About the Role :
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced Procurement and Contracts Analyst to join our Procurement team.
Based at our Wiri office and reporting to the Head of Procurement, this role provides the opportunity to a savvy numbers and systems person offering the opportunity to build a career in procurement as you work with a team of Procurement Category Managers and senior business stakeholders.
You will support the business by providing analytical support, market intelligence, data collection, reporting, modelling and insight to spend data for the sourcing, selection, vendor contracts management, reporting and governance associated with our procurement activities.
Responsibilities will include the establishment and ongoing generation of procurement performance metrics, creating transparency of the value added by the procurement function, track and interpret numerical data as well as pricing intelligence.
Skills and Experience :
To be considered for this role you will have identifiable relevant experience (commercial background advantageous) in a similar analytical role with ideally a qualification in commerce, accounting, business, information systems or data mining technical background.
Your Excel knowledge (e.g. macros and models) and proficiency across the entire MS Office suite and expertise in Power BI, SharePoint will be valued together with your ability to draw insights out of large volumes of data from varying sources.
You will be able to manipulate data into meaningful reports while fostering a collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrating a superior level of customer service.
