About The Opportunity

The Assistant Customer Manager Alternate Channels & Countdown is responsible for supporting the National Business Manager, Customer Managers and National Field Team to drive results for the Alt Channels & Countdown Account to achieve sales and market share targets.

Key responsibilities will include supporting the Customer Manager for Alt Channels and Countdown, forecasting for Alt Channels and back up support for the Countdown VMI role which will involve ownership of the ordering system as the back up VMI and require to be based from time to time in the WW offices.

  • Support for the Customer Managers requires active participation in preparation for customer meetings, and completion of all invoicing and support activities
  • The role involves pro-active analysis across category performance make recommendations into the customer plan.. You will be the subject matter expert for internal systems such as SAP for internal partnership with Supply chain as well as Promax.

    The role also has customer responsibility for Online Channel and TWL

    Priorities & Responsibilities Include

    Back up support for Countdown VMI system

    Full customer account management responsibility for Online Channels and TWL

    Support National Business Manager and / or Customer Managers on assigned projects and to prepare for customer meetings and internal meetings.

    Complete Invoicing tasks including coding from Promax

    Loading UBF forms and code changes to customer systems

    About You

    Strong analytical skills including intermediate Excel level

    Well-developed oral and written communication

    High level of planning and organizing skills

    Successful history of joint customer business planning

    Strong influencing skills to adopt and adapt interpersonal style to flex to internal and external customers

    Ability to deal with ambiguity

    Corporate Grocery, Field Sales or Pharmacy channel experience is desirable

    As a policy requirement of our retail partners, we require applicants to hold a current vaccine pass
