Want to make a difference? Love talking to people? This role is for you.Greenpeace New Zealand is looking for a focused and driven fundraiser with a flair for rapport building to be our full time Philanthropy caller.
Starting in September, this role plays a key role in our Philanthropy team who manage existing and new relationships with our most committed supporters.
In this role you'll handle Greenpeace New Zealand’s relationships with some of our most committed supporters. As part of one of the leading fundraising teams in New Zealand, you’ll work in a young and dynamic office full of other passionate environmentalists.
Primarily working on the phone, this role is responsible for talking to Greenpeace’s most loyal supporters to ask them to do something extraordinary - put a gift to Greenpeace in their Will.
You will also occasionally be asked to carry out other calling projects as required by the Philanthropy team.Confident and articulate, you have an eye for opportunity and have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in fundraising and meeting income targets.
Outgoing and friendly, you have an organised approach, are driven to meet targets and go the extra mile. While you will be asking people to leave gifts in their Will to Greenpeace, this role does not provide legal or financial planning advice, so prior knowledge of Will writing or estate planning is not expected or required to do this role.
